Over more than four decades, Chris Salewicz has documented popular culture in print, on films and television and radio. From his days as a senior editor at the NME in the 1970s to contributing editor of London’s Time Out he went on to write regularly for a range of magazines and newspapers including Q, MOJO, the FACE and The Sunday Times. Part of the team who set up MTV-Europe, Chris also wrote the screenplay for Third World Cop, the most successful film ever in the Caribbean. He is the author of 17 books including best sellers, the Redemption Song: The Definitive Biography of Joe Strummer and Bob Marley: the Untold Story as well as Jimmy Page: The Definitive Biography, published in 2018, a number 1 biography.
