So much has changed from when Francis Rossi and Alan Lancaster formed the band – from the band’s name and line-up to changes in technological advances in audio formats. All of these aspects will be covered in this exhibition so we guarantee that there will be something here for everyone.

Celebrating Seven Decades of Quo will run until 22 May 2023 at Barbican Music Library (Barbican Centre, Level 2) and it is free to visit during Barbican Library opening hours. Find all the details to plan your visit here.
The exhibition is the result of the collaboration of Barbican Music Library and The City Corporation, which owns and manages Barbican Music Library, with Paul and Yvonne Hanvey, who run Status Quo’s Official Fan Club ‘From The Makers Of…’ (FTMO…), Bob Young, aka “Status Quo’s unofficial fifth member” who gave his support alongside some memorabilia, and to Quo fans Jason Hodgson, Andy Poulter and Les Wainwright who also contributed with memorabilia from their collections.
